ROCHESTER – The Southwest Figure Skate Club (SWFSC) skaters competed in the 32nd Annual Hiawathaland Open Figure Skating Competition over the weekend in Rochester.

Skaters performed in four different types of competing events – freeskate which is a program with music, jumps challenge, spins challenge, and a compulsory routine. Trophies and medals were awarded to these competitors for their hard work in each of the competing events. The competition included approximately 350 skaters from Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
