MINNEOTA — Minneota defeated Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 77-44 on Friday.

Morgan Hennen led Minneota with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

Abby Hennen added 13 points and eight rebounds in the win, while Lizzy Gillingham finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Minneota (5-1, 4-0 Camden) hosts Tracy-Milroy-Balaton on Tuesday.

Three WWG players finished in double digits in scoring.

Matt DePrez led the Chargers with 16 points. Nathan Ross added 13 points, while Anthony Ross finished the game with 12 points.

WWG (3-2, 2-1 Red Rock) returns to action on Friday at the Candy Cane Classic in Okabena. The Chargers will face Lakeview, with opening tip scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

EDGERTON – The Murray County Central Rebels could not keep up with Southwest Minnesota Christian on Friday evening. SWC ran away from MCC, 72-37.

Nate Everson led the Rebels with 12 points. Tyler Groves scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

With the loss the Rebels are now 4-2 overall. They’ll look to break back into the win column today against the Pipestone Area Arrows.
