YOUTH BASKETBALL: Marshall fourth grade basketball team to compete in Pacesetter Youth State Championship this Sunday

MARSHALL – The Marshall fourth grade girls basketball team coached by Amanda Peterson will play Sunday in the Pacesetter Minnesota Youth Basketball State Championship at Maple Grove Middle School.

Teams that won Pacesetter regionals this spring advance to the state tournament. The state champions and runners-up will be invited to the Pacesetter Great Four-State Championships at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul later this summer against top teams from Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Over 600 teams competed statewide in the regionals as part of the Pacesetter four-state playoff system.

All teams will play three to four games in one day. See complete brackets with times and further information at www.pacesetternet.com.
