SMSU MEN’S BASKETBALL: Ticket prices announced for SMSU men’s basketball on Wednesday; First 250 SMSU students admitted FREE

MARSHALL – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and Sanford Health, will be hosting the 16-team NSIC/Sanford Health Women’s and Men’s Basketball Tournaments starting Wednesday, Feb. 22, at campus sites.

The SMSU men’s basketball team will host an opening round game on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. versus Minnesota Duluth. The SMSU women will play on the road on Wednesday versus MSU Moorhead.

Wednesday’s game will be a “White Out” at the R/A Facility, with all fans encouraged to wear white in support of the Mustangs.

The NSIC office has announced the ticket policy for Wednesday’s SMSU home game. Prices are $13 for reserved chairbacks, $10 for adult general admission, $2 for SMSU students and general students, while children five and under are free.

The first 250 SMSU students–with a valid SMSU ID–will be admitted free courtesy of Health Source Chiropractic. The tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis when the gates open at 6 p.m.

All spectators will be required to purchase a ticket, including SMSU season tickets holders. Tickets can be purchased online at SMSUmustangs.com/tickets or at the R/A Facility box office one-hour prior to the game.

Following the first round games, the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship games will take place Saturday-Tuesday, Feb. 25-28, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. The women’s tournament quarterfinals will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25, while the men’s quarterfinals will be played on Sunday, Feb. 26.
