PREP GIRLS HOCKEY: Marshall’s VanKeulen, Mauch sisters named to Big South All-Conference team
MARSHALL – The Big South All-Conference team for girls hockey was announced on Thursday, and a few Tigers made the list.
Juniors Courtney Mauch and Rachel VanKeulen and sophomore Sydney Mauch were placed on the conference team after their stellar individual seasons. As a team Marshall placed second in the conference with an overall record of 12-2. New Ulm won the conference with an undefeated record of 14-0 in the Big South.
Joining the Mauch sisters and VanKeuelen were Taylor Nuss of Fairmont, Mariah Aukes and Madison Crabtree of Luverne, Ali Beltz, Dani Weiss and Karlie Ries of New Ulm, Riley Brown and Jayde Pederson of Waseca, Molly Boyum of Windom and Anna Amos of Le Sueur Henderson St. Peter.
Myah Lytle of Fairmont, Ally Steffensmeier and Ashtyn Wiltscheck of New Ulm, Emma Doherty-Bohn and Ashley Pudwill of Le Sueur Henderson St. Peter and Anna Volk and Emily Steen of Windom all earned Honorable Mention team placements.
