if the excuse for a change of venue is people wouldn't have heard of the accident you would have to go a long ways. I wonder how much this trial is going to cost the taxpayers? This is a result of the politicians sitting on their hands doing nothing about the illegal situation. I wonder what the punishment would be in Mexico or Guatemala. How many times do we hear lie after lie from her. Yes when the trial is started the jury will see pictures of how she was pinned in the vehicle and her boyfriend was driving? yeah right. If you were called to be on a jury you would realise that even though you might know the individual the judge will ask if you could form a impartial decision based on evidence. If you say yes the lawyers can still keep you off the jury. So I am sure she will get a fair trial. But if found guilty you will here discrimination hollered all over the country.

Her Miranda Rights were violated? She's here illegally, why should these or any U.S. rights apply to her?

SHE IS JUST A LUCKY GAL THAT CHOOSING TO LIVE HERE (HOWEVER ILLEGAL IT MAY BE)THAT MN IS NOT A STATE OF CAPITOL PUNISHMENT. DOES IT REALLY MATTER WHERE THE TRIAL IS? THE EVIDENCE IS GONNA SPEAK FOR IT SELF. WE THE PUBLIC CAN HAVE ALL OF THE OPINIONS THAT WE WANT TRYING HER BY THE PUBLIC IS NOT GOING TO SOLVE OR REMOVE ANYTHING. ULTIMATELY THERE IS POWERS TO BE HIGHER THAN ANY OF US THAT SHE HAS TO ATONE.

That may be true, but she also had her Miranda Rights violated here and the subsequent inadmissible evidence reported by the local paper and news stations which makes it virtually impossible for her to receive a fair and impartial trial. Your post it would seem is proof that a change of venue is needed. I am quite sure you have not heard all of the evidence but it sounds if you are ready to convict without a trial at all. Like it or not these laws are in place for a reason. If the prosecution has enough evidence to support a conviction it shouldn’t matter where the trial is held.
