Agreed. In years a ways past I received real responses from politicians of both state and national level. Whether I agreed or disagreed they seemed to care. More than once they changed my mind when I had set out to change theirs. Unfortunately all of them have ridden off to their political sunset.
Frustrated...whenever you have a concern they say "contact your legislator, congressman, senator". I do email them when I have a concern via their links on their website. I have to say I am very disappointed with the lack of response or the response that isn't even specific to the topic just basically a generic campaign letter. I wish they would have button surveys that you could log in to indicate how the people they represent feel on topics - similar to the survey sites you log in to eliminate people from answering the survey more than once.

Regardless of party its interesting how they all say one thing until they get elected then do another.

Really
Agreed. "sign up for my newsletter" is not a response I want.
