of course the weren't going to reach an agreement. They are politicans first. They only see their wants and not the country's needs. Besides the fact that the cuts are automatic, the democrats won't take any of the blame for not make any concessions. Being able to place the blame on the republicans was more important than the country. Power corrupts and money is at the root of it. If we could throw them all out, place term limits on all branches and enlist the brightest and best business people to give of their time, we then would be the America that our forefathers had. Our Republic is in need of a George Washington.......
