Dalton Palmer racked up 141 rushing yards on 20 carries to go with two touchdowns while Carson Linblad scored one touchdown, carrying nine times for 31 yards.
Quarterback Jess Hansen connected on 11 of his 15 passing attempts for137 yards and three touchdowns.
Two of the touchdown passes were brought in by Michael Lee, who finished with 41 yards on three catches.
Kevin Anderson scored the lone touchdown for the Knights, gaining 97 yards on 16 carries.
Tate Thooft finished 2-for-6 with nine yards passing and one interception.
SPRINGFIELD- Carter Erickson rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another touchdown in as Springfield (1-0) wins big over Red Rock Central (0-1).
On a rainy night, the Tiger defense shined holding the Falcons to 103 yards total offense.
Springfield's senior quarterback Erickson, started out the scoring, in the first quarter, for the Tigers, with a 19-yard run.
In the second quarter, Dylan Salonek rushed for a 10-yard touchdown. Later in the quarter, Erickson hit wideout Zach Johnson for a 1-yard touchdown pass. Tigers lead 21-0 at halftime.
The second half featured another touchdown run by Dylan Salonek, 4-yard run, and a 32-yard scamper by Erickson.

Junior fullback Garrett Hennen rushed for 120 yards on 12 carries and scored three touchdowns in the game.
Minneota also got rushing touchdowns from senior Cole Hennen, Engler and Isaac Hennen.
Garrett Hennen finished as the leading receiver with two catches for 48 yards and scored a touchdown. Minneota also got touchdown receptions from Dylan Tolk and Collin Kor.

MAYNARD - Brett Swenhaugen threw four touchdowns and ran for two more as Tracy-Milroy-Balaton won big at MACCRAY 40-7 on Thursday night.
The Panthers scored all 40 of their points before the Wolverines got on the scoreboard.
The scoring kicked off in the first quarter when Swenhaugen connected with Spencer Smith on a 29-yard TD pass. The Panthers converted the two-point conversion for the 8-0 lead.
Swenhaugen scored his next touchdown on the ground from 71 yards out. A failed two-point conversion made it 14-0 after one quarter.
Swenhaugen connected with Josh Kirk on a 14-yard TD pass in the second quarter to make the halftime score 22-0.
Swenhaugen threw two more TD passes to Kirk in the thrd quarter. The first from 12 yards out and the second an 8-yard completion. Between the two passing TDs was a rushing touchdown by Swenhaugen from 15 yards out. All three two-point conversions failed.
The Wolverines finally got on the board in the fourth quarter on a 62-yard pass from Connor Cronen to Brady Madsen.
The Panthers (1-0) will travel to Adrian to face the Dragons on Sept. 5th.

CLEVELAND - Tied at 12 through three quarters, Westbrook-Walnut Grove couldn't come out ahead, losing their opener 27-20 to Cleveland.
Mitchell Jarmer led the Chargers on the ground with 103 yards on 20 carries, scoring three touchdowns.
Jarmer also led WWG defensively with 10 tackles. Tristan Joel added five tackles and an interception.
Joel completed 11-of-16 passes for 174 yards in the loss.
The Chargers will face Alden-Conger in their home opener on September 5th.

HECTOR-Hector-The Wabasso Rabbits claim a 14-0 victory in the season opener against the Buffalo Lake Hector.
Mitch Felton rushed for both of the Rabbit touchdowns earning 174 yards on 25 carries. Caleb Kemp contributed 43 rushing yards on eight carries.
The Rabbits held the the Mustangs to 119 total offensive yards with Josh Altermatt leading the team with six tackles.

CANBY- Adrian jumped out to a 29-2 lead at the half en route to a 35-17 win over Canby Thursday.
The Lancers scored their first touchdown in the third quarter with a 60-yard pass from Matthew Sisk to Matthew Slaba before getting a fourth quarter 16-yard rushing touchdown from Sisk.
The Lancers struggled to contain Adrian quarterback Logan Rogers, who accounted for three touchdowns in the first half, rushing for two and throwing for one.
