The summer flew by (doesn't it always?) and it's back to school time (what? already?). August is National Immunization Awareness Month and the March of Dimes wants to remind you that this is a great time to make sure your family is up to date on recommended immunizations to protect you and everyone around you from infectious diseases. The March of Dimes was founded more than 75 years ago by Franklin D. Roosevelt in his efforts to help develop a vaccine against polio.
