A car involved in a one-vehicle crash reported Tuesday afternoon sat off the roadway of Minnesota Highway 19, with its bumper and other debris scattered nearby. Five people, including three children, from Lamberton were injured in the crash, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 2011 Toyota driven by Nhia Xiong of Lamberton received severe damage, Patrol said. Xiong and passengers in the vehicle, Ker Thao, Christopher Xiong, Richie Xiong and Huchi Xiong were taken to the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, Patrol said. The crash was reported near the intersection of Highway 19 and Lyon County Road 3. The vehicle came to rest on part of a mowed lawn just past a culvert and driveway entrance for a residence near the highway.
