MARSHALL - The Marshall Tigers scored single tallies in four different innings en route to a 4-1 non-conference home win against Montevideo on Tuesday.
In the first inning, MHS received three walks before a fielder's choice off the bat of Jayme Citrowske sent home Madison Radel with the first run of the game. Marshall went ahead 2-0 in the third, when Citrowske walked, went to second on a sacrifice bunt, before eventually scoring on a passed ball.
After the Thunder Hawks scored a run in the top of the fourth, the Tigers answered with a bases-loaded walk to Jocelyn Wenker in the bottom half of the frame. Ashley Bernardy's sixth-inning RBI single drove in Radel, who hit a double earlier in the sixth inning.
