Clarice Boyer

Clarice Eleanor (Rolison) Boyer was born Sept. 1, 1918, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Lester Richard and Ethel (Tozer) Rolison. As a child, she and her family lived in several communities including Marshall for a time. Here she met John Boyer. The couple was united in marriage on Oct. 16, 1938, in Beardsley.

Clarice was active in developing the business community in Marshall. The farm where she and John lived and worked is now an active shopping area with Runnings, Walmart, Shopko, several dining establishments, medical clinics, a hotel and a jewelry store. Clarice was responsible for that development. She had a strong will and a deep faith. She enjoyed travelling and visited nearly every state and particularly enjoyed several cruises. She spent many winters in Yuma, Ariz.
