Members of the Board of Directors and staff of Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center watch as employees of Sioux Falls Construction place the final beam on the structure of the new Cancer Institute on Monday evening. The evergreen tree on the beam is used in topping out ceremonies in the construction industry and symbolizes good fortune. The institute expects to begin treating patients in January 2015.
