Celtic Eucharist celebrated Sunday at St. James
The Celtic Eucharist will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sunday at St. James Episcopal Church. All are welcome to attend.
Celtic Christianity is a form of faith that developed in the early centuries of the Christian movement in what we now know as Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. It focuses on the goodness of all creation and asserts that creation discloses God's own being.
Celtic worship is drawn from the liturgical traditions of Iona and Northumbria and is offered this Sunday in celebration of St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland and Nigeria.
