ISU students named to fall semester dean's list

More than 6,900 Iowa State University undergraduates have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the 2013 fall semester dean's list. Students named to the dean's list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Ridgewater announces fall semester 2013 dean's list

Ridgewater College acknowledges those students earning recognition on the dean's lists for fall semester 2013. In order to be included on the dean's list, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 credits and meet certain other criteria.

UND releases 2013 fall semester dean's list

The University of North Dakota released its 2013 fall semester dean's list honorees.

The list comprises students whose grade point averages are in the top 15 percent of the enrollment in each of the University's degree-granting colleges and schools. A student must have completed no fewer than 12 semester hours of academic work for the semester, of which eight or more hours must be graded work rather than "satisfactory/unsatisfactory."

Louwagie named to DWU's dean's list for fall

Brooke Louwagie of Marshall was recently named to the fall dean's list for Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, S.D. Louwagie is a freshman at DWU and the daughter of Richard and Kim Louwagie.

To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have a semester grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. They also have to complete at least 12 hours of academic work during the semester.

Louwagie named to UW-Madison dean's list

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2013-2014 academic year. Maci Louwagie of Marshall, who is in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, was named to the dean's list.

Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the dean's list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own grade point average requirements for students to be eligible to receive the honor.

Lozinski named to the fall 2013 dean's list at the College of St. Scholastica

Meghan Lozinski of Marshall was named to the fall 2013 dean's list at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. Dean's list members have achieved a 3.75 grade point average or above on a 4.0 scale. Lozinski is majoring in English - Intended.

Yang named to Dunwoody's fall semester 2013 dean's list

Pheng Yang of Walnut Grove was named to Dunwoody College of Technology's fall semester dean's list. Yang received this honor by upholding a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

Hanson named to 2013 fall semester dean's list at Luther College

Luther College senior Luke Hanson from Cottonwood has been named to the 2013 fall semester dean's list. Hanson is the son of Paul and Sally Hanson.

This fall's list includes 741 students: 137 freshmen, 186 sophomores, 203 juniors and 215 seniors. To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades (A, B, C, D).
