TRACY - Tracy-Milroy-Balaton came up just short against section rival Pipestone Area on Friday, falling 66-65 to the Arrows.

Josh Kirk and Brett Swenhaugen led the Panthers with 17 and 16 points, respectively, while Spencer Smith added 10 and Riley Kirk nine.

Boyer Bouman led Pipestone Area with 22 points, while Collin Moeller chipped in 16.

Dawson-Boyd 49, CMCS 44

DAWSON - After holding a one-point advantage at halftime, Class A No. 5 Dawson-Boyd was able to hold on and earn a 49-44 victory Friday night against Central Minnesota Christian School to improve to 5-0 overall and in the Camden Conference North Division.

Michael Lee posted a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Blackjacks, while Joey Lee recorded 14 points, seven boards and six assists.

Taylor Slagter and Lucas Van Eps dropped in 15 points apiece to lead the Bluejays (4-4, 3-2 Camden North).

Minneota/Lincoln HI 68, Westbrook-Walnut Grove 42

IVANHOE - Jordan Beck scored 20 points, collected eight rebounds and two steals to lead Minneota/Lincoln HI to a 68-42 win against Westbrook-Walnut Grove on Friday in semifinals of the Candy Cane Classic.

Four other Vikings hit double digits in scoring, with Nathan Pavek (13), Jeff Gladis (12), Daniel Harrison (12) and Austin Buysse (10). Buysee also chipped in a team-high five assists and two blocks.

Walker Christians led the Chargers with 16 points. Shane Buchman contributed seven points, while Tristian Joel and Matt Otto added five points apiece.

Minneota/Lincoln HI takes on Southwestern United at 5 p.m. for the championship of the Candy Cane Classic. Lakeview meets Westbrook-Walnut Grove for third place at 3 p.m.

IVANHOE - Max Horner scored 16 points and swiped five steals and Jonah Dovre contributed eight points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots for Lakeview, but it wasn't enough to pull out a victory at the Candy Cane Classic on Friday.

Southwestern United held a 19-13 edge at the half and was able to secure a 56-38 win. Aaron Fest led the Wildcats with 14 points, while Walker Crocker had 12 and Zach Schumacher 11.

Jaden Hoffman recorded eight points and three blocks for Lakeview, while Michael Alness added four points.

Southwestern United plays Minneota/Lincoln HI for the Candy Cane Classic championship today, while Lakeview will take on Westbrook-Walnut Grove for third place.

ADRIAN - Brett Peterson lifted Russell-Tyler-Ruthton to the championship of the Adrian Holiday Tournament as the Knights downed the Dragons 70-55 in the title game Friday.

Peterson scored 35 points on 14 field goals - three of which came from 3-point range - grabbed 17 rebounds, created seven assists and blocked two shots.

The senior guard produced exactly half of RTR's points (70) and 50 percent of the Knights rebounds (34).
