WINDOM - The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton volleyball team advanced to the Section 3A South subsection championship game on Tuesday with a 3-0 win over Southwest Minnesota Christian in Windom.
Jessie Nelson led the Panthers at the net with 10 kills and a block. Kassidy Przymus added nine kills and five digs.
Sara Stoneberg was 20-for-20 serving with three aces while Anna Peterson was 14-for-15 with three aces. Peterson also added nine digs while Stoneberg had six. Gabbie Gervais came away with 26 set assists in the win also.
TMB (20-12) will face Murray County Central on Thursday at Southwest Minnesota State University in the South Division championship game at 7:30 p.m.

WINDOM - The third-seeded Murray County Central volleyball team upended the second seed Southwest United, winning in five on Tuesday night in Windom.
The Rebels won 25-12, 10-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-12 to advance to the Section 3A South subsection championship on Thursday.
Lindsey Barritt led MCC with 16 kills while Kristi Bose was right behind her with 15. Bose added 19 digs, two blocks and was 16-for-16 with an ace serving.
Dana Vander Wal was 18-of-19 with three aces and also recorded 14 digs. Hannah Schmidt was 13-of-14 with three aces and also had 14 digs. Jade Giese had one ace with her 17-of-18 serving performance to go with 19 set assists, 12 digs and a block.
