Lucy was united in marriage to Dan Jerzak on Oct. 19, 1974, at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. To this union they were blessed with four children: Jessica, Corey, Curt and Doug. Together they raised their family on the Jerzak family farm near Wilno. Once the children were older she went back to work at the school and at the hospital in Ivanhoe. Lucy was a natural caregiver and loved kids. Lucy's family and friends will remember her for always being a kind, caring, giving and positive person.

Entertaining family and friends with great food was known by many as one of Lucy's wonderful talents. Her door was always open and everyone was considered family in her eyes. Her artistic and creative abilities aided in her talents of cake decorating and interior decorating. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband to tractor pulls and doing kiddie tractor pulls all over the area and meeting so many new people.
