MARSHALL - An incident that led to a low-speed chase in Marshall early Saturday morning is under investigation, Marshall Police said.
At about 1:10 a.m. Saturday, Police began pursuing a vehicle in the downtown area, and the chase continued south of Marshall, at speeds ranging from 20 to 50 miles per hour.
Police said a spike system was deployed, which deflated two of the vehicle's tires.
However, the subject of the pursuit continued to drive on the rims for several miles, and onto gravel roads, Police said.
Officers lost sight of the vehicle, which was later found abandoned several miles away in Redwood County, Marshall Police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
