ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The City of Marshall will receive proposals in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 10:00 a.m. on June 18, 2013, for the following project:
To demolish and remove the dwelling structure located at 620 West Main Street in Marshall, Minnesota. The project will include removal of the dwelling structure, basement, foundation, backfill, topsoil, hydroseeding, and miscellaneous associated work. The demolition shall include the proper disposal of all materials, including hazardous materials, associated with the demolition of the structure.
All proposals shall be made on the proposal forms of the City and shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the order of the City Clerk/Financial Director for not less than 10 percent of the amount proposal.
Proposals shall be directed to the City Clerk/Financial Director, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with a brief statement or summary as to the work for which the proposal is made.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
No proposer may withdraw his proposal for at least 30 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals.
Specification and Proposal Documents, including Building Inspection Report & Summary of the structure, are on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, 344 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258; 507-537-6773. Copies of the specifications and proposal documents will be furnished on request to any prospective proposer.
