An explosive second half launched the sixth-ranked Minneota Vikings to a 67-43 victory over the Fulda Raiders in a non-conference girls' basketball game in Minneota on Saturday.

The Vikings led 25-24 at halftime, but Emily Stienessen's all-around game helped Minneota put some distance between themselves and Fulda. Stienessen led the Vikings in scoring with 14 points, while also adding six assists, five steals and a block. Sophomore forward Taylor Reiss put up a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double in the win, while Megan Larson scored 11 points for Minneota as well.

Fulda was led by Rachel Cheadle's 12-point effort, while Melissa Gehl chipped in 11 points in defeat.

The Vikings improve to 20-2 on the season and will put their seven-game winning streak on the line when they host Edgerton on Tuesday.
