MARSHALL - A memorial service for Elise G. Seymour, 74, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Campus Religious Center at Southwest Minnesota State University.
She died Nov. 29, 2012, at the Brookview Manor in Brookings, S.D., after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 31, 1937, on the Dutch-owned island of Curacao, to Jan and Edna Gosliga. She was a language professor at Southwest Minnesota State University, primarily in Spanish.
Survivors include her husband, Fred; two sons, Alexander and Adrian and one sister, Catrina Hinson of San Antonio, Texas.
