Brooke Rasmussen scored 21 points and was named to the all tournament team on Saturday at the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton holiday tournament. It was not enough, however, for the Red Rock Central girls' basketball team as they fell to Adrian 71-56 in the the third place game.
Katie Larsen and Olivia Bittner each had nine points for the Falcons (0-8 overall), who trailed 44-32 at halftime.
Adrian (7-2) was led by Courtney Vaske's game-high 22 points, while Brooke Wenzel (13) and Elizabeth Thier (10) also reached double figures scoring for the Dragons. Vaske and Jordin Kopplow were named all-tournament for Adrian.
RRC returns to the court on Jan. 8 for road Red Rock Conference game against Mountain Lake Area.
