With nine wrestlers placing in the top six of their weight classes, the Wabasso/Red Rock Central wrestling team was able to take top honors at the Redwood River Riot in Redwood Falls over the weekend. The Bobcats had a team composite score of 190.00 points, 37 points better than second place United South Central.

Five other area wrestling teams also competed in the Redwood River Riot. Canby placed 14th as a team, out of 28 total teams, with a score of 74. Quad County was the next highest finisher, taking 19th with 66 points. Fulda/Murray County Central placed 23rd with 37 points, just one point and one place ahead of Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley.
