SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2012-13
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING CHAPTER 21 OF THE CITY CODE
TO DEFINE AND REGULATE ADULT USES AND AMENDING
CHAPTERS 18 AND 11 OF THE CITY CODE
The purpose of this Ordinance is provide for the licensing of adult uses within the City of Lynd, Minnesota. The City Council specifically recognizes the sanctity and fundamental nature of free speech and does not intend to regulate or ban speech based on content.
The Ordinance, as adopted, shall consist fo the following titles:
Section 1: The City Code for the City of Lynd is amended by adding a
new Chapter, as follows
21.01 Findings and Purpose
21.02 Definitions
21.03 Location
21.04 Licensing of Existing Establishments
21.05 License Required
21.06 Sign Restrictions
21.07 Penalty
21.08 Severability
21.09 State Law
Section 2: Chapter 18 of the City Code for the City of Lynd is amended
as follows:
Annual License Fee of Adult Establishments
Section 3: Chapter 11 of the City Code for the City of Lynd is amended
as follows:
11.204 Definitions.
Appendix I: Resolution adopting the findings of the Report of the
Attorney General's Working Group on the Regulation of
Sexually Oriented Business
Appendix II: Report of the Attorney General's Working Group on the
Regulation of Sexually Oriented Business
A printed copy of Ordinance No. 2012-13 is available for inspection by the any person during regular hours at the office of the City Clerk or upon written request.
