Workshops for veteran-owned small businesses to take place

For companies interested in expanding market share, increasing revenues and growing their business, the government marketplace is a great avenue to pursue and MN PTAC helps all Minnesota businesses pursue government contracts.

Veteran-owned small businesses and others interested in contracting with MnDOT are invited to attend these workshops. Presenters will provide valuable insights on how veteran bidding preference works, eligibility requirements, future project opportunities with MnDOT and other governmental agencies and opportunities to network with other businesses. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has initiated a Veterans Outreach Project to help veteran-owned small businesses learn how to bid on state funded projects.

In an effort to identify and help verify veteran-owned small businesses, Duff Consulting, an SDVOSB firm, in partnership with Procurement Technical Assistance Center Minnesota (MN PTAC) has a contract with MnDOT to facilitate this outreach initiative. This is an opportunity to thank military veterans for their sacrifice and foster job creation through government contracts for veterans across Minnesota.

The closest workshop is: Thursday, Dec. 13 from 1-4 p.m., Mid-Central Research & Outreach Center (MCROC), 1802 18th St., NE, Willmar.
