WOOD LAKE - Services for Mae Bertha (Schmidt) Mitchell, 87, of Wood Lake will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wood Lake. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday at the church, with a prayer service at 5:45 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
She died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the Granite Manor in Granite Falls.
She was born Nov. 22, 1924, to Richard and Bertha (Kruse) Schmidt in Wood Lake.
Survivors include her daughter, Barb Bresson of Hanley Falls; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Pearl Hempel of Granite Falls.
