MINNEOTA - Services for Esther Eva West, 88, of Minneota, and formerly of Canby, will be at 11 a.m. today at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Canby. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Gary, S.D.
She died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at the Minneota Manor.
She was born Nov. 3, 1924, on a farm in Deuel County, S.D., near Lake Cochrane, to William and Martha (Nagele) Cornell.
Survivors include her son, Larry of Madison; daughters, Diane Malone of Currie, Lori Jerzak of Minneota and Nancy Trudgeon of Brooklyn Park; numerous grandchildren; brother, Art Cornell of Albert Lea; and her twin sister, Edna Carson of St. Paul Park.
