CURRIE - Services for William "Bill" E. Phelan, 90, of Currie will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Currie. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the church in Currie, with a rosary at 5 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday morning. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Currie, with a luncheon served in the church social hall immediately following the burial. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.
He died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the Prairie View Healthcare Center.
He was born Dec. 21, 1921, to Francis J. and Brida M. (Kavanaugh) Phelan in Currie, Murray County.
Survivors include his many nieces, nephews and their families.
