STACYVILLE, Iowa - Gladys S. Blake, 86, of Stacyville, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, surrounded by her family, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home in Stacyville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Meyer, Iowa. Friends may greet the family from 4-7 p.m. today at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before services at the church on Saturday. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, Iowa.
Gladys is survived by her daughter-in-law, Joan Blake of St. Ansgar, Iowa; her children, John (Mary) Blake of Cottonwood, Jean (Dennis) Hemann of Osage, Iowa, Janet (Jeff) Chapman of Marshall, Dan (Sue) Blake of Stacyville, Iowa, David (Kathy) Blake of Osage, Iowa, Tim (Kathie) Blake of Osage, Iowa; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
