SLAYTON - Services for Donald Marvin Dykema, 93, of Slayton will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Reformed Church in Slayton. Burial is at Ransom Township Cemetery, rural Rushmore. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton and also one hour prior to the services at the church.
He died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
He was born Nov. 17, 1918, on the family farm near Bigelow, to Albert and Gertrude (Overman) Dykema.
Survivors include his children, Deann Ossefoort of Fulda, Linda of Cordell, Okla., and Allen of North Mankato; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Ida Zylstra and brother, Robert of Ellsworth.
