The Lakeview volleyball team went 2-2 at a tournament in Pipestone on Saturday to place seventh out of nine teams.
The Lakers dropped their first two match of the day, losing to Redwood Valley 18-25, 25-16, 16-14, then falling to Southwest Christian 25-17, 25-21.
Lakeview rebounded nicely with a pair of sweeps. The Lakers beat Austin 25-18, 25-17, and finished the day with a 25-20, 25-23 victory over Edgerton.
Tegan VanMoer had nine ace serves and 18 kills during the tournament for the Lakers, while Brianna Hoffman had a big day with 12 ace blocks and a team-high 25 kills.
