The Minneota volleyball team opened the Apple Valley October Classic Tournament with a loss to Osseo before finishing with a win over Hibbing on Friday night.
The Vikings (21-3) fell to Osseo by identical 25-19 scores in both games. Molly Hennen was 10-for-10 serving with eight kills while Shelby Corbin was 6-for-6 with an ace to go with four kills.
Taylor Reiss had six kills and two blocks in the loss.
The Vikings came back against Hibbing to win 25-16, 25-7 in the second round.
Megan Larson was 10-for-10 with an ace serving. She also had 17 set assists, seven digs and a block.
Reiss had eight kills and two blocks while Hennen had five kills and a block.
The Vikings will face Cambridge-Isanti at 9:30 this morning.
