Hello Mustang fans!
It is homecoming week at SMSU, featuring the theme "Mustangs for Life!" The SMSU Athletics Department will host the Mustang Stampede on Saturday, featuring a number of programs beginning at 9 a.m. at the Regional Event Center. Here is more information about the Mustang Stampede:
How the Mustang Stampede Works
The Mustang Stampede is for everyone! In addition to the 5K walk/run, we are adding a 10K run for those seeking more of a challenge. Women, men, students and families are all encouraged to participate. Strollers are welcome, kids 12 and under are free!
Kids Run & Fun Zone
Before the Stampede begins, there will be a free fun run for the kids ages 12 and under. During the Stampede, there will be a fun zone set up for the kids to hang out with their favorite Mustang players.

Julie Bayer (1987 and 1988) and Karla Kolln (1986) were all-conference runners for the Mustangs.
