Lady of Victory to have fall dinner Sunday

Our Lady of Victory Church in Lucan will have its annual dumpling/sauerkraut sausage/roast pork dinner from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday. The meal will follow 10 a.m. Mass. The buffet-style dinner menu include dumplings, sausage, roast pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and beverage. The cost for adults is $9, ages 6-11 is $5 and 5 and younger are free. Handicapped accessible seating available.

Take out meals are available.

Open house Sunday at Wesley

Wesley Methodist Church will have an open house on Sunday. Praise music will begin at 9:15 a.m., with worship to follow at 9:30 a.m. Fellowship will take place after the service and an open house will have displays and information about the ministries and activities at Wesley Methodist Church located at 202 N 4th St., Marshall. The public is invited.

Willow Lake Church to have sing-a-long, children's activities Sunday

Willow Lake Church will open its doors for a sing-a-long at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The event will be followed by a Subway sandwich box lunch and family activities.

Located on the prairie, Willow Lake Church was built in 1899. The event provides the Friends of Willow Lake an opportunity to share this rural historic landmark with others and surface interested individuals and organizations that would be supportive of donating to support and preserve this historic landmark as an important part of our rural community.

Following the sing-a-long, area 4-H members will lead children's activities including pumpkin painting, apple bobbing and bean bag toss. Mule-drawn wagon rides will be offered by Mike and Darles Lamfers until 1 p.m.

Directions from Tracy (grade school corner): Go south on County Road 11/County Road 38 for seven miles, turn east (left) on 191st Street and go one mile and turn right onto 230th Avenue.

Directions from Walnut Grove: Take Highway 5 south two miles, turn west on County Road 45 and go one mile, turn south onto County Road 45 and travel four miles, turn west on County Road 17 and go six miles and turn onto 230th Avenue and go south about one mile.

Directions from Currie (End of the Line Park): Go north on County Road 38 for six miles, turn east on 191st Street and go one mile and turn right onto 230th Avenue.

Parish festival Sunday at St. Clotilde

The Church of St. Clotilde will have its parish festival Sunday. The pork loin dinner with dessert will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Adults are $9, children 6-12 are $5 and 2-5 are $3. Mass is at 10:30 a.m. The church and hall are air-conditioned. Take-out meals will be available by calling 532-2841. A raffle drawing is at 1:30 p.m. The fish pond, country store, cake walk and silent auction are from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
