BROOKINGS, S.D. - Services for Mardella I. Birath, 82, of Brookings, S.D. will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in Brookings, with visitation one hour prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. Rude's Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Brookings Health Systems.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Birath of Brookings, S.D.; sons, Robert of McComb, Miss., Richard of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Thomas of Marshall; daughter, Barbara Zobrist of Brandon, S.D.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Dick Smith of Duluth.
