WESTBROOK - Services for Howard R. Dallenbach, 70, of Westbrook will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Westbrook Funeral Home, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial is in the Westbrook Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service - Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
He died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
He was born Aug. 12, 1941, in Johnsonville Township, to Alfred and Alma (King) Dallenbach. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in March of 1963, served as a Specialist E-4 and was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. He was assigned to A Company of the 141st Signal Battalion, 1st Armored Division. He received his honorable discharge in April of 1965.
Survivors include his wife, Clarice; children, Melisa of Hanley Falls, Chris of Westbrook and Jesse W. of Yuba City, Calif.; sister, Frannie Haecherl of Tracy; and brother, Harvey of Walnut Grove.
