WOOD?LAKE?- Services for Lydia Bode, 95, of Wood Lake will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Posen Township. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at Sunset Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. The Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association of Echo and Wabasso is handling the arrangements.
She died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the Parkview Nursing Home in Belview.
She was born Aug. 29, 1916, to Rev. William and Emilie (Roehl) Hennig in Moosejaw, Sask. Canada.
Survivors include her five sons, the Rev. Edgar Bode of Rapid City, S.D., John Bode of Belview, Paul Bode of Hudson, Wis., Daniel Bode of Omaha, Neb. and James Bode of Minneapolis; two daughters, Judith Eilert of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Kristen (Mikel) Brantley of Shiloh, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Colberg of Milbank, S.D. and Hildegarde Kottke of St. Paul.
