REDWOOD FALLS - Services for Phyllis Marcella (Janachovsky) Hengel, 86, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Lucan, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seaforth. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a prayer service and rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial is in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service - Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Wood Dale Nursing Home.
She was born May 27, 1926, in Westline Township, to Frank and Mary (Benedict) Janachovsky.
Survivors include her children, Diane Rohlik of Renville, Daniel of Elbow Lake, David of Milroy, Juanita Then of Alexandria, Julie Rothmeier of Wabasso, Jill Schwitalla of Buffalo and Darlene Thomez of Waterville; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
