MARSHALL - Connie Sue Docken, 46, of Montevideo, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court June 26 to charges of third degree driving while impaired - refusal to test, court records said. Docken refused to take a chemical test in Lyon County on March 3, court records said. The offense was sentenced as a misdemeanor. Docken received a stayed sentence of 90 days in jail, and was sentenced to pay a $600 fine, and one year probation with conditions including abstain from alcohol and drugs, be medication compliant and abide by laws. Additional charges of fourth degree driving while impaired, driving over the center line and speeding were dismissed.

MARSHALL - Jennifer Marie Marthaler, 37, of Clarkfield, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 27 on charges of identity theft. A complaint alleges Marthaler used another person's ID to purchase cable, phone and Internet service in Marshall between August 2010 and November 2011. A hearing was set for July 10. Bail for Marthaler was set at $20,000 without conditions, or with conditions including appear in court, do not leave Minnesota and have no contact with the alleged victim.

MARSHALL - Debra Kay Porter, 38, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 27 on two counts of third degree controlled substance crime charges. A complaint alleges Porter sold methamphetamines in separate incidents on Aug. 24 and Aug. 30. A hearing was set for July 10. Bail for Porter was set at $50,000, or with conditions including appear in court, do not enter bars or liquor stores, and abide by laws.

MARSHALL - Jessica Grace Walters, 30, of Balaton, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 27 on charges of second degree burglary. A complaint alleges Walters stole prescription medications from a residents in Lyon County on April 13 and April 15. A hearing was set for July 10. Bail for Walters was set at $40,000, or with conditions including appear in court, abstain from alcohol and drugs, do not enter bars or liquor stores and abide by laws.

MARSHALL - Shawn Raymond Remme, 31, of Ghent, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 27 on charges of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, fleeing a peace officer on foot, obstructing legal process and careless driving. A complaint alleges Remme fled a peace officer trying to pull him over for a traffic stop in Lyon County on May 26. A hearing was set for July 24. Bail for Remme was set at $10,000, or with conditions including appear in court and abide by laws.
