With the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the eighth, Minneota's Cory Drietz stole home on the throw back from the catcher to the pitcher to give his team a 3-2 win over Dawson in a Legion baseball game Thursday in Minneota.
Drietz was 2-for-4 in the game with three stolen bases.
Mike Dwire got the start for Minneota and worked the first 5 1/3 innings, during which he gave up two runs (one earned). He had two strikeouts, two walks and allowed for hits before being relieved by Austin Buysse, who went the rest of the way, earning the win. Buysse struck out four batters and allowed one hit.
Josh Wager went the distance for Dawson and took the loss. He struck out four, walks four and held Minneota to five hits.
Minneota moves to 3-2 with the win and will host Madison on Monday.

Milroy 13, Morgan 3
The Milroy Legion baseball team exploded for seven runs in the second inning and beat Morgan 13-3 Thursday night in Milroy.
James Fultz started the game for Milroy and JC DeWitte relieved him in the fifth. The two combined to hold Morgan to just one hit.
Milroy (2-9 overall) had 12 hits in the game. Parker Lanoue and Brian Fultz each went 2-for-4 to lead the team offensively.
