Bremer Bank matching donations to end hunger during June campaign

For the seventh consecutive year, Bremer Bank is "Taking Action to End Hunger" during the month of June by raising funds for local Feeding America food banks. Again this year, Bremer will match every donation dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000.

During the month of June, donations will be accepted online at Bremer.com or at any Bremer Bank location. Overall, one in five children faces hunger in the United States. When children go without food, they are likely to suffer deficiencies that hinder their learning and growth. One hundred percent of donations collected through the "Taking Action to End Hunger" campaign are distributed to local Feeding America food banks in Bremer communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota.

Bremer is also donating a $1 for every view of its Step Up to end Hunger video up to 15,000 views at www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGN77ghs_7M.

Robinson attends financial advisers forum

Cindy Robinson of Marshall, a Modern Woodmen of America representative, has completed a five-day educational program at Modern Woodmen's home office in Rock Island, Ill.

The program focused on comprehensive financial services for families and small businesses. Using a computer software program, participants also studied the impact of Social Security benefits and inflation on a client's financial plan. In addition, attendees learned the products and processes to incorporate mutual funds and variable products, where appropriate, when evaluating financial needs.
