MARSHALL - A white dog was taken to animal impound in an animal complaint reported at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of West Marshall Street, Marshall Police said. The dog was later released to its owner after fees were paid and the owner was issued a verbal warning, Police said.

LYON COUNTY - An accident with a deer was reported at 9:14 p.m. Wednesday on the intersection of Lyon County Road 8 and 160th Avenue, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.
MARSHALL - A 2007 Chevrolet driven by a Marshall woman, 26, received light damage and a 2005 Honda driven by a Marshall woman, 56, received light damage in a property damage accident reported at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday on the intersection of South Bruce Street and Central Avenue, Marshall Police said.
