SUDBURY, Vt. - A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita Ann Einarson, 60, will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon. The Rev. Albert "Skip" Baltz, pastor, will be the celebrant. The graveside committal service and burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Rita Ann Einarson died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at her home in Brandon.

Mrs. Einarson was born in Tracy on March 30, 1952. She was the daughter of Edward and Arlis (Jackels) Ourada. She grew up in Walnut Grove, where she received her early education and graduated from Walnut Grove High School, class of 1970. She later moved to Grafton, North Dakota where she worked as a L.N.A. at St. Joseph's Hospital for several years. She moved to Manchester, N.H. in 1984 and continued working as an L.N.A. She came to Sudbury in 1989 moving from Manchester and continued working as an L.N.A. and later did private duty nursing. She and her husband owned and operated Broken Arrow Kennel in Sudbury. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and gardening.

Surviving is her husband Mitch Einarson of Sudbury; whom she married in Grafton, N.D., on Oct. 8, 1983, two daughters; Karen Scott of Rutland and Angie Gaudry of Adams, Tenn., her mother Arlis Ourada of Walnut Grove; six sisters; Eileen Olson of Aurora, Colo., Teresa VanDeWiele of Garvin, Linda Burns of St. Paul, Deanna McNamee of Colorado Springs, Colo., Sandy Cooreman of Tracy, and Betsy Snyder of Milroy; two brothers; Duane Ourada of Tracy, and Larry Ourada of Colorado Springs; three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Edward Ourada in June 2011.

Following the ceremony the family will receive friends in the church parish hall, for a time of fellowship & remembrance.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon, Vt.
