Kathy Richardson reacts after setting off a rocket Friday morning at Holy Redeemer School. Richardson's eighth-grade technology class launched water bottle rockets after spending two weeks learning to make the rockets out of two liter pop bottles, using water and compressed air for propellant. The class measured the time and distance achieved on each launch. Each rocket was the project of teams consisting of two or three students.
