MARSHALL - Paula Lynn Colemer, 45, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court April 24 on charges of first degree controlled substance crime - liability for crimes of another, second degree controlled substance crime - liability for crimes of another, fifth degree controlled substance crime, child endangerment, possession of a small amount of marijuana - liability for crimes of another, and possession of drug paraphernalia - liability for crimes of another. A complaint alleges Colemer or an accomplice possessed methamphetamines with the intent to sell in Marshall on Feb. 3. A hearing was set for May 22.

MARSHALL - Mark Cecil Diamond, 58, of Marshall was sentenced in Lyon County District Court April 24 for second degree driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. Diamond drove while under the influence of marijuana in Marshall on April 17, 2011, and had prior DWI convictions in 2003 and 2007, court records said. Diamond was sentenced to one year in jail with 95 days stayed, pay a $700 fine and three years probation with conditions including serve 270 days in jail with 35 days credit for time served, abide by laws and abstain from alcohol and drugs.

MARSHALL - Casey Jo Kline, 25, of Garvin pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court April 24 to charges of third degree assault, court records said. Kline assaulted a man in Marshall on Feb. 11, causing cheekbone fractures, court records said. A sentencing hearing was set for May 22.

MARSHALL - Corey Delano Fields, 35, of Marshall pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court April 24 to charges of second degree driving while impaired, court records said. Fields drove with an alcohol level of.19 in Marshall on March 1, and had prior DWI convictions in 2003, 2005 and 2006, court records said. Fields was sentenced to one year in jail with 275 days stayed, pay a $1,000 fine and three years probation with conditions including serve 90 days in jail with credit for time served and good behavior, abide by laws and abstain from alcohol and drugs. Additional charges of driving after revocation and possession of a small amount of marijuana were dismissed.

MARSHALL - Timothy Nolan Christle, 37, of St. Louis Park was sentenced in Lyon County District Court April 24 for charges of obstructing legal process and domestic assault, court records said. Christle assaulted a woman in Marshall on July 20, court records said. Christle was sentenced to 240 days in jail with credit for 59 days served.
