CURRIE - Megan Pool and Paul Johnson announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Al and Angie Pool of Milroy and Denny and Deb Johnson of Slayton. Pool is a 2005 graduate of Tracy Area High School and a 2009 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D., with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Southwest Minnesota Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Marshall and Slayton. Johnson is a 2005 graduate of Tracy Area High School and works for Minn-Kota Construction of Dundee. The couple plans a June 23, 2012, wedding in Currie.
