TYLER - Funeral service for Edward Perseke, 89, of Tyler will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First English Lutheran Church in Tyler. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Appleton City Cemetery, Appleton. Arrangements are provided by Hartquist Funeral Home, Utoft-Johansen Chapel in Tyler.
He died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

He was born May 3, 1922, in Colby, Wis., to Gust and Lydia (Dallman) Perseke. He entered the military during World War II and served in the South Pacific, reaching the rank of corporal.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce and a sister, Doris Wilkening of Appleton.
