Thanks to 20 points by Paige Erickson and a five-point, seven-rebound, eight-assist effort by Anne Woelber, Westbrook-Walnut Grove picked up a 54-45 Red Rock Conference victory over Hills-Beaver Creek Thursday in Hills.
Now 8-7 in the Red Rock, 11-10 overall, the Chargers host Southwest Star Concept on Monday in the regular-season finale.
Leading the Patriots was Katlyn Sandbulte, who finished with 16 points.

The Dawson-Boyd girls basketball team capped off its regular season with a convincing 63-32 Camden Conference win over Renville County West Thursday night in Dawson.
Justine Lee had seven points, nine rebounds and 16 assists to lead the Blackjacks, who sport a 13-9 overall record and 10-6 conference record. Katarina Kuhlmann added 14 points, while Mari Lee and Sarah Zaiser each scored 11.
RCW got 14 points from Morgan Zaske and 10 points from Taylor Sharpe.
Dawson-Boyd opens Section 3A tournament play Feb. 25 in Montevideo, with the fourth-seeded Blackjacks taking on No. 5 seed Central Minnesota Christian.

The Minneota girls basketball team won its 22nd straight game on Thursday with a 71-41 Camden?Conference road victory over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton.
Undefeated in the Camden at 14-0 (24-1 overall), the Vikings will represent the Camden South in the Camden Conference championship game on Tuesday, hosting Camden North champion MACCRAY.
The Panthers (7-7, 11-12) close out the regular season on Tuesday, traveling to Windom for a non-conference game.

Sparked by a 20-point effort from nate Siemers, Minnesota Valley Lutheran bumped its Tomahawk Conference record to 8-7 (10-13 overall) with an 80-61 victory over Wabasso Thursday in New Ulm.
Cole Wersal and Nate Schoenherr each finished with 14, and Bobby Tisch tallied 11 for the Chargers, who take on Sleepy Eye Saint Mary's on Tuesday.
The Rabbits (3-12, 8-16) got a team-high 18 points and seven rebounds from Aaron Brau. Neil Eichten chipped in with nine points. Wabasso preps for its season finale on Feb. 24, hosting Cedar Mountain/Comfrey.

At 195 pounds, Chris Kaddatz got the momentum going for the Lancers with a 1-0 decision over the Arrows' Jared Hillard. At 220, Cole Regnier secured a third-period pinfall, and at heavyweight, David Bursack clinched the dual with a pinfall over Garret Thomssen.
